A Virginia native, Rachel moved to Nashville in 2010 to pursue a degree in Music Business at Belmont University. During college, Rachel interned at Musictoday, AEG, Aloompa, and also participated in the second annual Pipeline Project through Belmont. After working in the event and marketing space, Rachel moved to Spotify Playlist Promotions at Digmark where she became one of the early team members that would take Major Lazer’s ‘Lean On’ to become the first independent release to reach number one on the Spotify Global Top 50 Chart and help grow the company, leading to an eventual acquisition by Universal Music Group.

As Digmark became part of UMG in late 2015, Rachel was promoted to Manager of Sales in addition to streaming strategy. In 2017, she transitioned to the Fame House team where she focused on Business Development and sales for the greater company suite of services while still managing the independent track promotions services.

As an engaged member of the Nashville music community, Rachel served for two years as Social Chair of SOLID (Society of Leaders in Development) and currently serves on the organisation’s Alumni Board. Rachel now works as Marketing Strategy Manager in WMA’s Nashville office.
