With over fifteen-years’ experience, Erika is an award winning music and entertainment PR who has worked with a variety of international artists, events and brands.  Starting out at major labels, Virgin and EMI Records, before moving to independent agencies including MBC and Dawbell, Erika worked across and lead campaigns for the likes of LCD Soundsystem, DFA Records, Kate Bush, Will Young, Mark Ronson, Patrick Wolf and many more.  In 2011 she opened the London office for New York based music marketing and communications agency Cornerstone where she lead global music publicity and influencer campaigns for brands including Converse, Bushmills Whiskey, TDK and The FADER.  

A move to the US in 2013 lead to working across the strategy and communications for Moogfest, New York Sound City, and consulting with a variety of agency and lifestyle clients across PR, social and digital strategy before returning to the UK in 2015.  Since then, Erika has continued to work with clients including Converse, Brighton Pride Festival, and The 100 Club, alongside lecturing in PR and career coaching with music graduates at BIMM.  

Erika joins WMA as Acting Global Publicity Director whilst Heather Swaine is on maternity leave.
