Chrissy was brought on to launch and develop WMA’s publicity division in the US, while serving as the first senior publicist in the territory.

She has over a decade of experience working in many facets of the music industry including publishing, management, concert promotion, and public relations. With over seven years of experience at boutique PR firms, she has worked on campaigns for a myriad of clients in the entertainment landscape. Getting her start at New York based agency Big Picture Media, Chrissy gave support to entertainment and culture encompassing clients including CMJ Music & Film Festival.

From there she went on to help develop The Catalyst Publicity Group, bringing in over 50 clients, including label Tommy Boy Entertainment’s roster, during her four years serving as Publicity Director. At Catalyst she worked on a wide range of projects including Method Man, Palisades, Oxymorrons, New Music Seminar, So What Music Festival, Pinelands Music Festival, and more.

Before coming to WMA Chrissy last held the title of Senior Director of Publicity at Right Angle PR. There she oversaw and contributed to campaigns for the likes of All That Remains, The Juliana Theory, Acceptance, Giraffe Tongue Orchestra, Envy on the Coast, Dinosaur Pile-Up, and Fred The Godson. Her repertoire also includes Wintercon Sci-Fi Convention where she ran promo for legendary actress Nichelle Nichols. In addition she ran point on PR for Lesser Gods Books titles ‘Color Me Kanye: The Greatest Unofficial Kanye West Coloring Book of All Time’, ‘The Hip Hop Alphabet’, ‘The Strokes: The First Ten Years’, and ‘Last of the Giants: The True Story of Guns N’ Roses’.
