Seb founded WMA in August 2013 after 12 years at Sony Music (BMG prior to the Sony BMG merger) where he worked in a number of digital roles. His most recent position as Digital Strategy & Marketing Director for Sony Music UK saw him oversee the digital marketing programme for the labels wide roster of artists, including the likes of One Direction, Daft Punk, Olly Murs, Justin Timberlake, Paloma Faith and Beyonce to name a few.
After helping set up the Sony Music digital business, including their mobile and fixed line activity, Seb and his team of twenty-three digital specialists were focused on delivering unrivalled digital marketing exercises based on insight and strategic planning. Key areas included official digital touch points, social media strategy, digital partnerships, CRM, mobile initiatives, digital PR & digital advertising.
In addition to being appointed the youngest director at Sony Music in 2009, Seb has also picked up 7 Digital Music Awards and was featured as the youngest entry in Marketing Magazines Next Generation Power 100. He previously sat as a BIMA chair entertainment judge and was shortlisted for a Revolution award, along with being featured in the 2013 BIMA Digital Hot 100.
