Bekka began her career in the music industry by focusing on music journalism, where she wrote for several music sites before going on to graduate with a degree in Magazine Journalism. During this time she also created two magazines herself which were available online and in-print.
After graduating she moved to London from Newcastle and started working within Sony Music’s Commercial Group. During her time at Sony she managed multiple label channels including Sony Legacy, Sony Nashville and Top Compilations. She worked on several artist campaigns including Paul Young, Live Lounge, Fatboy Slim, Elvis Presley, Carrie Underwood and Judas Priest.
As a Digital Channel Manager at WMA, Bekka is focused on developing digital and creative strategies across all digital channels for artists and brands.
